About

James grew up in New England and resides here on Cape Cod with his family in Brewster.  He graduated from the University of Maine and worked in the hospitality and human resources professions for multi-national companies before changing career paths in the late 90's.  James owned and operated a general contracting and custom furniture business while living in Maine, along with being a licensed building code inspector. Additionally, he is a certified radon measurement and mitigation specialist. He has a strong understanding of house construction and over 20 years experience in related fields.

 

When not inspecting homes he can be found coaching his son's baseball team, serves as a board member of a local sportsman's and civic club, fishing, spending time with his family, and he continues to handcraft furniture in his free time.
